THE HEIST (2017)
A campaign for Royal Mail to increase awareness of identity fraud (sadly withdrawn from television for being deemed “likely to cause fear and distress in viewers").
“Simon Ellis has created an incredibly visceral spot for Royal Mail, using the imagery of an armed bank robbery to make customers aware that their personal identity is their most valuable possession. Simon’s incredible eye for ‘what feels real’ is once again on display in this hard-hitting film. Working with actors is his forte and the group ensemble work-shopped the piece over the course of the day to make the ‘choreography’ of the raid feel both terrifying and totally believable. It’s definitely worth a watch.”
